Bloglovin’ love

The New Bloglovin

How do you keep track of all of your favourite blogs? I’ve tried a lot of different systems, from bookmarking to RSS feeds and the WordPress reader, but I always come back to bloglovin’ – it is hands-down my favourite blog reader out there. Not only does it allow you to easily organise all of your blogs, keep track of new posts and store favourite individual posts for later, they have also recently added a cool new profile feature. Whereas before all blog-reading and liking was anonymous, you can now create your own profile and show others which blogs you are reading and which posts you liked.

The feature makes it super easy to discover new blogs: My blogroll has at least doubled just from scrolling through the profiles of people that follow or write my favourite blogs and finding out what they are reading. If you have your own blog, you can now also claim  authorship and see who is following your blog and who else they are following. I would LOVE to know which other blogs you guys are reading, so if you are not using bloglovin’ yet (or haven’t created your own profile), give it a go and I’ll check out your page! If you spot someone called ‘Anuschka Rees’ following your blog, that’s me :)

  1. I’m no expert, but here’s where I am. I love tumblr and 500px. Have tried Google+ but lost interest. Don’t use FB.
I have recently discovered Flipboard. This aggregates feeds from Twitter, Tumblr, 500px etc, plus news feeds from BBC, The Guardian, The New Yorker, Paris Match etc. All are my current preferences. It is easy and quick to flick thru. I then use Pocket as Reader to bookmark key content to read later. Hope this helps. From the UK.
